Hello everyone! Thank you for checking out Grey Coast CrossFit! Growing up in Sammamish, I had always been an athlete, earning a black belt in Martial Arts and spending my spare time doing any outdoor activity I could get my hands on. I began doing CrossFit since 2010 to help recover from a shoulder injury and instantly fell in love with the training and the community. I got out of the Marine Corps as a Captain in April of 2014, spending an incredible tour in Okinawa, Japan. During that time, I was a Team Competitor in the 2014 CrossFit Asia Regionals, where our team placed 3rd overall. After regionals, I shifted my focus to my true passion: coaching athletes. I am a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, USAW Sports Performance Coach, and Crossroads Alliance Adaptive Athlete Coach. I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Kansas and my Masters in Organizational Leadership from Marshall University. My favorite part about CrossFit is helping athletes in their pursuit to be the best version of themselves. I have traveled all over the United States and Asia, visiting different gyms everywhere I go. Owning a gym in a city that I love is a dream come true and I am thrilled to get to meet so many amazing people doing what I am most passionate about. Joshua and I strive every day to build the community of athletes where everyone feels welcome and has fun as they drive towards their best selves. CrossFit is for anyone and everyone, so feel free to reach out to us with any questions. We look forward to training with you and having you as a member of the Grey Coast family of athletes!
