We’ll stream some games, enjoy some fitness and food, and celebrate the college football season together!

October

Oct 1st-Nov 4: The Barbell Open at GCCF

We are going to be running our first Barbell Open at GCCF! This five-week weightlifting competition will be similar to the regular CrossFit Open, except that you will only be tested on one weightlifting movement every week. Scores will be based on more that just total weight lifted, so it is going to be an awesome opportunity to work on your technique in hopes of crushing your old PRs! And yes, of course there will be t-shirts… 🙂

Oct 13, 9am: Barbells for Boobs

Get sweaty for an awesome cause! Barbells for Boobs is an organization founded to help raise awareness and bring money to efforts in breast cancer research and treatment. To help support, CrossFit gyms across the world will be doing the workout “Grace”, 30 clean and jerks for time. We will be running our heats on the morning of October 13. Learn more about Barbells for Boobs here.

Oct 28, 10am: Seahawks Game Live Stream & Potluck at GCCF

We will be showing the Seahawks vs. Detroit Lions at the gym on October 28th! The game starts at 10am, so bring a football favorite or tailgate-inspired dish to share and we’ll all enjoy watching a Seahawks victory!
